The city archives of Prague, Brno, Ostrava, Plzen, and Ústí nad Labem are the repositories for the majority of archival materials pertaining to these city-districts. Most materials which would normally be held in regional archives (e.g. pre-1900 parish books) or district archives (e.g. census schedules) are stored in these city archives along with other documents of particular relevance to these five municipal entities.
